Democratic lawers' association headquarters searched by police yesterday in Bologna: they were the law observers on Genoa J21
Yesterday was searched by police also the Iniziativa Giuridica Democratica (democratic lawers' association) headquarters of Bologna, looking for audio/video documents (after 7 months!) about Genoa's J21 demo. The Iniziativa Giuridica Democratica center played the role of law observer at Genoa J21 and after that participated to the Genoa Legal Forum, as a point of collection of the police brutality reports. Today at 15,30 there was a press conference of the Coordinamento Nazionale Giuristi Democratici, a democratic lawyers' coordination group to which the center is federated. In the conference the lawyers asked the Genoa's Court (which disposed the search) why they choose to act a police search instead of directely ask the documents to them and they also said this search is a serious attack to Italy's civil liberties and generally to the role of the lawyer.
